This was a massive project, which began with the need for a Hill Hiker. The homeowners wanted the incline elevator along the property line, where their original 1 car garage sat, built in 1896. The project began by tearing down the existing garage, moving and rebuilding a new 2 car garage and installing a 100’ Hill Hiker. It included remodeling their kitchen below, adding a deck around the kitchen for access to the lift. It also included adding a 2nd story over the kitchen, as well as a 1000’ addition below the house, which required us to replace 50% of the foundation. All of this happened while the homeowners continued to live in the home.
